Avatar retouching

My project includes a full re-design of the book Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. I chose a few different covers that I think identify well with the overall theme of the book. I think each sketch resonates with what the book is about and I believe each of the sketches is better and more effective than the original. I am going to try to make it completely different from the original in my final project, but still, maintain some of the colors of the original. The spine and back of the book are the same for each sketch because I think this is the best it could be.
